About Auros Harman

I’m Auros Harman, an east coast native who became a proud San Bruno resident and Belle Air neighborhood homeowner in 2017. In 1999 my education brought me to the west coast, where I settled, married, and began a career in renewable energy.

I was raised to believe in citizens’ right to participate in governance, and I became particularly interested in issues of housing, transit, affordability, and infrastructure.

Because San Bruno District 4 is severely impacted by decisions about these issues, I volunteered to serve as a Planning Commissioner, beginning my tenure in 2019.

In this role, my goal has always been simple: balancing the needs and values of our neighborhood and community with proactive, no-nonsense problem solving, to ensure San Bruno’s quality of life for all residents. I’ll bring that same goal to the City Council.
