About Gordon Chester
My name is Gordon Chester, I am born and raised in the Cambrian area, and I want to represent you as the next District 9 City Councilmember. I have taken the time to learn how and why you, the people, say that we need to improve our safety and address our numerous housing issues. As your District 9 City Council Member, I will represent you and pave the road towards a safer city, a more sustainable city, and a city that offers everyone the opportunity to achieve the happiness they are pursuing.

Gordon Chester on Housing and Abundance
“At Cambrian Village, I support building housing first, with enforceable commitments to senior housing, park space, bike lanes, and restoring the carousel sign as a prominent community landmark within the new development.”
“Affordable housing that gets delivered: Press for the timely delivery of approved affordable and senior housing, not just more plans.”
“Room for family and extra income: Easier ADU permits so backyard homes can bring parents or grown children closer, or supplement a fixed income and support aging in place.”
