[50 Corridor TMA] Bike Under the Cool Tree Canopy (American River Parkway Ride)
Strong SacTown
Have you biked under the cool, majestic canopy of a valley oak tree or examined an acorn woodpecker granary tree recently? Join the 50 Corridor TMA, Sacramento Tree Foundation, and Bike Lab on a bike ride and tree tour starting at Hagan Community Park! We'll be riding together along the American River Parkway for a tour of native trees and park trees. The round-trip ride will be 7 miles, with plenty of opportunity to stop and get to know the trees of the parkway. Agenda: 8:45 AM - Check in, Sign Waivers - Meet at the Gazebo at Hagan Park, across from Sullivan Field. 9:00 AM - Roll Out! We'll start riding at 9 AM, bike upstream and back (3.5mi each way). 10:30 AM - End of ride at Soil Born Farms. Our ride will end at about 10:30 AM at Soil Born Farms. Bike racks are available to lock up your bike while you spend time on the farm. They have a cafe where coffee and snacks are available to purchase.
