Jane's Walk: Nooks, Crannies, and Alleys in Old Town
Livable Harrisonburg
Old Town is full of hidden alleys and paths you'd never find if you're whizzing by in a car. Come join us and check out these cool spaces! Meet in front of City Hall at 1pm, leave by 1:15. Walk should be about an hour, with more time for discussion. Jane’s Walk is a movement of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs. Anybody can lead a Jane’s Walk! This walk encourages people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use the art of walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.
