We're continuing our book club for Killed by a Traffic Engineer by civil engineering professor Wes Marshall. On May 16, we discussed Part 1 and why we should care about how our streets are designed. We’ll cover Part 2 this time. Part 2: Mismeasuring Safety (chapters 21-28). Wes Marshall hits us with wit, irreverence, and hard facts to examine how traffic engineers have been looking at safety all wrong. We’ll discuss our disgust.
