[Preservation Sacramento] 47th Annual Historic Home Tour & Street Fair

The Preservation Sacramento Historic Home Tour is an annual tour of restored homes in Sacramento’s historic neighborhoods. Each year, they host a tour in a different neighborhood. The Street Fair is where everyone attending the tour stops first, and provides a central point of activity for the tour, plus vendors, information booths and vendor booths. The 2025 is in the South Land Park Hills neighborhood, focusing specifically on the Eichler Historic District. Tickets for the tour are $30 for Preservation Sacramento members, $40 for non-members. Preservation Sacramento's 2025 Historic Home Tour takes place in South Land Park Hills, Sacramento's only neighborhood built by forward-thinking developer Joseph Eichler. This self-guided tour offers an exclusive look inside beautifully restored Mid-Century Modern homes in Sacramento's most recent historic district. Eichler was a social visionary who built inclusive and diverse planned communities. He established a non-discrimination policy, and offered homes for sale to anyone, of any religion or race. Sacramento's only Eichler district, South Land Park Hills, was listed in the Sacramento Register of Historic and Cultural Resources in 2024, both for its striking Modernist architecture and the equitable philosophy of its developer. The 2025 tour includes an exclusive look inside four Eichler homes, each a contributor to the South Land Park Hills historic district, and an unforgettable Mid-century Modern “Groovy House” with a mind-blowing collection of vintage ephemera. Each house will also be adorned with classic cars of the 1950s and 1960s. Ticket price includes a commemorative booklet with information about the neighborhood and each home. You can visit each home in whatever order you prefer, at your own pace. All of the homes on the tour are located within walking distance of the Street Fair and Ticket Booth at the southern edge of Reichmuth Park, 1155 Silver Lake Drive, where you'll pick up your brochure and start the tour at your own pace.
