Strong SacTown
Park(ing) day is a global, public, participatory project where people across the world temporarily repurpose curbside parking spaces and convert them into public parks and social spaces to advocate for safer, greener, and more equitable streets for people. Join us for Park(ing) Day, a chance to reimagine how our streets and public spaces can serve people, not just cars. This year we’re going to be sharing information on the new daylighting law in CA, and we’ll be creating a pop-up social space with tables and chairs where people can relax, share conversation, and enjoy food from local vendors. Join us and help to spark conversations about how small design choices can create safer, more welcoming streets for everyone.
