Timbale Terrace Groundbreaking!
Open New York
Event description: We are excited to celebrate the beginning of this transformational project that addresses the urgent need for affordable housing in our community and also creates an unprecedented, new cultural hub in East Harlem by bringing arts and education through the Casa Belongó Music and Arts Center. This event showcases how the Timbale Terrace development, which will feature 341 affordable housing apartments, including 97 supportive housing units, transform a former NYPD parking lot and impact the lives of its residents and the surrounding East Harlem neighborhoods. You will also learn about the Casa Belongó Music and Arts Center, which will provide enriching music education and performance programs to the East Harlem community and NYC as a whole. Join us in honoring a brighter future for our community through housing, arts, and education!
