Join StrongSacTown for another Transit Thrift Tour! We'll meet at University/65th St. Gold Line Light Rail Station and then using a few bus routes to go to these three thrift shops: - Noah's Ark Thrift and Gift - Society of St. Vincent Thrift Shop - WEAVE Thrift Join and follow along! No need to know the ins and outs of the route but if you're curious, here's a more detailed itinerary: ​Meet at University/65th Station at 9 a.m. ​Bus 82 leaves University/65th bus station at 9:13. We'll get off bus 82 at Watt Ave & Whitney around 9:49. Cross Watt and then walk south to Noah's Ark Thrift. ​Shop for about an hour. ​Leave Noah's at 11:00 (or 11:15). Walk south 2 minutes to the bus stop. Bus 84 leaves Watt & Pope at 11:08 (or bus 82 leaves at 11:25) and gets to Butano & Park Towne Circle at 11:14 (or 11:35). Cross Butano and walk south on Park Towne to back of St. Vincent de Paul thrift. ​Shop for about an hour/1.5 hours ​Leave St. Vin's at 12:15 or 1:00. Walk back to same stop. Bus 13 leaves at 12:31 or 1:16 and gets to Arden & Wright at 12:39 or 1:24. WEAVE is right there. ​Leave WEAVE whenever, walk back to Fulton (15 minutes). Bus 26 leaves at 1:11, 1:41, 2:11 to 65th. ​Food info: While there are places along the route within walking distance we don't have built-in time for lunch so make sure to plan accordingly by eating beforehand, bringing something to eat, or plan to go to nearby locations (there's a Starbucks and some other shops near St. Vincet Thrift and WEAVE). ​Accessibility info: Buses and Light Rail vehicles have ramps and accommodations for those who need assistance. Not all bus stops are guaranteed to have shade or comfortable seating.
